Youth Yoga 11-18 years

My youth yoga class evolved out of the necessity to do something good for my friend’s children and for my own daughters, which is fun and at the same time keeps them fit and flexible. It is something for the mind that neutralizes every kind of stress (for example stress at school) while sweating everything out of the body (purification for body, mind and soul). It is all about how we get to know our body better, how and when we overexert it, and how we can activate our self-healing powers.

Stress and a lack of exercise lead to exhaustion. Yoga positions stretch, strengthen and open your body. They dissolve tension from sitting too long, improve posture, or prevent postural defects and provide a balance to the daily load.

The lessons are held flow-like in small groups (maximum ten youngsters). This means that the different asanas (postures) come from Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, but the movements flow and change creatively every time. Individual tuition depends on the group-level and is taught humorously. The variety of asanas is inexhaustible and playfully supports your:

  • immune system
  • relief of stress
  • improvement of concentration
  • improvement of the locomotor system
  • general increase of flexibility
  • blood flow
  • good mood
  • fast growth
  • ... and much more!

During our 90-minute-lessons, you alternate getting to know something about:

  • Asanas (postures)
  • Bandhas (energy closures)
  • Dristies (concentration points)
  • Pranayama (breathing techniques)
  • Chakras (energy wheels in the body)
  • Nadis (energy channels)
  • Mudras (power signs)
  • energy-balances and much more

Small groups with maximum ten youngsters assure your individual class! You can join at any time! Private lessons are possible after agreement by phone!
